Metabolism … what REALLY is it?
We’ve heard people say the have a FAST or a SLOW metabolism … some people just cannot keep ‘meat on their bones’ and others seem ‘impossible to lose weight’.
To stay healthy, we each need to understand and FEEL our own metabolic changes … especially WITH the SEASONS.
Yes, we are mammals. And mammals, unlike reptiles, change their metabolism with the Seasons. It slows in the wintertime … we call it HIBERNATION. And, it reboots (HOPEFULLY) in the Spring-time.
If we go for a number of Annual Cycles without rebooting our Metabolism, the thermostat gets stuck and must be reset.
